Cultivate Your Bid ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you visit cultivateyourbid.com (the "Site") or engage us for sorority recruitment coaching services. By using the Site or our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
What we collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, information collected automatically as you use the Site, and information we receive from third-party services we use to run our business.
Information you provide directly includes your name, email address, the school your daughter is considering or attending, phone number (if you share one), and anything you write to us in a contact form, intake questionnaire, or coaching session.
Information collected automatically includes your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, the links you click, and the dates and times of your visits. We collect this information through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies.
Information from third parties includes data from our customer relationship management system (GoHighLevel) and from advertising platforms when those platforms share aggregated audience information back to us.
How we use your information
We use information to deliver our coaching services, respond to inquiries, schedule and conduct discovery calls, send confirmations and reminders, send the lead magnets and newsletters you opt in to, improve the Site and our coaching, comply with legal obligations, and measure the performance of our marketing.
Cookies and tracking technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics, advertising measurement, and basic functionality. The specific tools currently in use include:
- Google Analytics 4 for site analytics
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Pixel and Conversions API for advertising measurement
- TikTok Pixel and Events API for advertising measurement
- Microsoft Clarity for heatmaps and session recording
- GoHighLevel for customer relationship management and form handling
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse new cookies, delete existing cookies, or notify you when a new cookie is set. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Site.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share information with service providers who help us run our business (the platforms listed above plus our email and calendar tools), with advertising platforms in aggregated and hashed form for ad measurement, and where legally required (subpoena, court order, or to protect our rights).
[REVIEW] We do not knowingly share personal information with chapters, sorority alumnae, recommendation letter recipients, or any third party related to recruitment outcomes without your express permission. Coaching engagements involve information your daughter shares directly with her coach, which we treat as confidential within the coaching relationship.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal information we hold about you, the right to opt out of certain types of processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
[REVIEW] California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). [TBD: tailor to actual practices and add formal CCPA disclosures.]
[REVIEW] Residents of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). [TBD: confirm whether services are offered to EU/UK residents and add formal GDPR disclosures if so.]
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@cultivateyourbid.com. [TBD: confirm correct support email address.]
Children's privacy
Our coaching services are designed for families with children of high school senior age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will delete it.
Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and to comply with legal obligations. After an engagement ends, we typically retain coaching files for [TBD: confirm retention window] before deletion. Marketing data (email lists, ad audiences) is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

[REVIEW BEFORE LAUNCH] This Privacy Policy is a starting-point template. Before publishing publicly, have it reviewed by a lawyer who handles US privacy law (and EU/UK if Cultivate Your Bid markets internationally) or generated through a compliance service such as Termly, Iubenda, or Termageddon. Items marked [TBD] need Cultivate Your Bid-specific facts; items marked [REVIEW] need legal review.
